Dear Parents and Guardians,
I thank you for allowing us the opportunity to be with your child a couple of hours a week and sharing the Gospel of JESUS Christ with them. We enjoy having them here for all of our programs throughout the week. We are in the process of growing and changing some of our programs here at the church. We will be keeping you informed of all the changes as they happen.
AS a result of our growth, it has become necessary to ensure that all the children are safe while they are in our care. The first step in this process is their safely on the van and bus as they come to and go from the church. To provide good communication between the church and home, we are asking that you read the following rules for the bus/van and sign them. We will send a copy home with your child. Please review these rules with your child so they will understand what is expected of them. Thank you for you time and allowing us to minister to your child.

Boones Creek Baptist Church Van and Bus Ministry,

Rules for the Van/Bus:

1. Seat belts at all times.
2. Remain in seat at all times
3. No throwing items (toys, paper, ball, people, candy, food etc.)
4. No eating or drinking or chewing gum at any time.
5. No excessive noise.
6. No games. (game boys, IPods, CD players, zunes, cell phones, etc)
7. No lighters, fireworks, Lasers, or light making devices that may distract the driver.
8. No hitting, punching, fighting, biting or kicking. Keep Your Hands to Yourself.
9. No seat diving or surfing.
10. No rude or offensive language—do not disrespect your fellow passengers.
11. No riding or climbing on top, side, or bumpers.
12. No weapons or anything that can be used as a weapon will be allowed
13. No public displays of affection between students - keep all body parts to yourself.

Consequences for violation of rules:

• 1st time- Immediately following the violation the driver will talk to the parents/guardian
• 2nd time- Student will not be allowed to ride without a parent/guardian
• 3rd time- Student will no longer be allowed to ride and will need to make
                  other arrangements for transportation

If the van or bus can not come to pick up your student, every effort will be made to
contact you so you will be able to make other arrangements. Please provide us with a
number so we can contact you in case of an emergency. Thank you.
